An Illustrated Poster
This project is an illustrative poster based on my own photography. In my photography, I like to focus on the feeling of a place or situation rather than only documenting it. To me, this often means creating almost ethereal scenes from unusual angles and with dramatic lighting. This illustration style was heavily inspired by the work of Kyle Lambert, and retro travel poster styles, and is my response as a reflection in my own work. Creating this poster involved a lot of fine detail work and a bit of collage. I experimented with a wide variety of colors as well. As I have a wide portfolio of similarly styled photography, I plan for this to be the first of a long series.
